  1. LITTLE DUCK 1 (5-12 Months)Gentle assisted water introduction where your little one experiences how the water feels. Surface bubble blowing and supported float on matt. Supported arm and leg movement.Target age 5 to 11 months
  2. LITTLE DUCK 2 (12-18 Months)A progression of the gentle assisted water introduction this time with the addition of the face and head to work up to partial submersion. Bubble blowing at and below the surface and introduction to kicking and assisted back float.Target age 12 to 17 months
  3. LITTLE DUCK 3 (18-24 Months)Familiarisation and exploration of the pool edge and supported safe entry. Experience body orientation (vertical & horizontal) and control breathing with face submerged. Push from wall – kick legs and fully submerged head.Target age 18 to 23 months
  4. LITTLE DUCK 4 (24-30 Months)Standing water entry, turn to grasp and hold. Hand-walk along the edge before safely exiting. Independent face submersion, breath hold, assisted and unassisted swims using arms and legs through the water. Assisted mat movement and aided float.Target age 24 to 29 months
  5. LITTLE DUCK 5 (30-36 Months)Slide in and hold the edge. Safely exit with minimal assistance. Blow bubbles face fully submerged. Display independent propulsion of kick and pull. Front and back float without support and independent submersion and propulsion of kick and pull.Target age 30 to 35 months
  6. LITTLE DUCK 6 (30 - 36 months)With support safely jump. Blow bubbles face fully submerged, breath, repeat. Submerge and recover object. Front and back float without support. Body position. Refine propulsive movements.Target age 30 to 35 months
  7. BUBBLEFISHWater Confidence (Parent assistance required). A transition stage to develop independence in shallow water. Exploring underwater skills, floating and some basic kicking, supported by instructor or family member.Target age 3 to 4 years
  8. DOLPHINPreliminary stroke development. Introducing freestyle breathing technique and learning breaststroke leg action. Developing body orientation and underwater skills and building on safety knowledge and skills.Target age 3 to 4 years
  9. STARFISHWater movement. Independent entry and exit, developing propulsion skills and learning how to use arms. Understanding basic safety at home and at the pool.Target age 3 to 4 years
  10. SWORDFISHSwim fundamentals. Further developing kicking skills while coordinating arm action. Extending breath control and learning how to support themselves in the water without an aid using sculling hands.Target age 3 to 4 years
  11. STAGE 1 - BeginnerBeginner. Introduction to basic water foundations of floating, breath control, safe entry and exit. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  12. STAGE 2 - Water DiscoveryWater Discovery is about being pulled to safety and the development of the freestyle stroke. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  13. STAGE 3 - PreliminaryPreliminary includes performing a survival sculling on your back float and learning freestyle breathing. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  14. STAGE 4 - Water AwarenessWater Awareness is about the importance of water safety and learning survival backstroke. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  15. STAGE 5 - Water SenseWater Sense develops an understanding of the elements in being water safe while extending your backstroke and breaststroke skills. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  16. STAGE 6 - JuniorJunior means you can complete a competitive swimming dive as well as gain the ability to swim 50 m freestyle and learn breaststroke timing technique. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  17. STAGE 7 - IntermediateIntermediate includes the skill of egg-beater kick used in water polo while extending swimming and survival abilities. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 5 to 15 years
  18. STAGE 8 - Water WiseWater Wise develops good judgement in water safety while learning the skill of sidestroke. It builds on refining stroke to complete continuous swimming over 200m. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 8 to 15 years
  19. STAGE 9 - SeniorSenior includes the skill of competitive tumble-turns and learning basic principles of resuscitation, non contact rescues and endurance swimming over 300m. Lessons cater for school aged students.Target age 8 to 15 years
  20. STAGE 10 - Junior Swim & SurviveJunior Swim and Survive links the skills of swimming, diving and treading water needed when in open water. Having gained these skills give surfing a try.Target age 8 to 15 years
  21. STAGE 11 - Swim & SurviveSwim and Survive included the use of a personal flotation device while extending swimming and survival abilities. Having gained this skill give canoeing a try.Target age 8 to 15 years
  22. STAGE 12 - Senior Swim & SurviveSenior Swim and Survive includes what to do when escaping from a capsized boat while extending swimming and survival abilities. Having gained these skills give sailing a try.Target age 8 to 15 years
  23. STAGE 13 - Wade RescueTo introduce skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival.Target age 10 to 15 years
  24. STAGE 14 - Accompanied RescueTo develop skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival.Target age 10 to 15 years
  25. STAGE 15 - Bronze StarTo develop skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival. Completion of this award prepares students for a Bronze Medallion when age ready.Target age 10 to 15 years
  26. ADULT - BeginnersLearn basic water safety skills and the fundamentals of swimming. Focus areas include floating, breath control, kicking and basic strokes, such as freestyle and backstroke.
  27. ADULT - IntermediateHave mastered basic swimming skills and are comfortable in the water. This level focuses on improving stroke techniques, endurance, and swimming efficiency. Work on refining freestyle, backstroke, and an introduction to breaststroke.
  28. ADULT - AdvancedDesigned for adults looking to perfect their technique and increase speed and endurance. These classes focus on advanced stroke techniques, flip turns, lap swimming, and timing.
  29. TEENAGEOur Teenage classes are ideal for students aged between 12-17 who have not had the opportunity to participate in swimming lessons before, or need help with their swimming skills.Target age 13 to 16 years
